Charlie Kinnune is entering his 25th season as Head
Football Coach for Mount Si High School. He was a 1981 graduate
of Issaquah High School. He was a KingCo All League player in
1978, 79 and 80, Washington AP All State Team C in 79 & 80, an
East-West All State participant in 1981 and a member of the
KingCo "All Decade" 1980's Team. Coach Kinnune played college
ball at Spokane Community College in 1981 and 82 and went on to
play for Western Washington in 1983. His coaching experiences
include: Western Washington Assistant Coach in 1984, 85 &
86, Kentridge High Assistant Football Coach and Head Wrestling
Coach in 1990 & 91. Some of his accolades in coaching the
Wildcats include: KingCo Head Coach of the Year 2006 and 2012,
recipient of the Pro Athletes Outreach Wall of Fame Award
at Bellevue Athletic Club (2009), “NFL High School Coach of the
Week” in 2012, and the WIAA District 2 “Coach of the Year” for
Over the last 25 years, his teams are perfect in district
playoff games (8-0), including the school’s first playoff
victory in the 4A classification in 2015. His teams have
established school records in wins, total offense, total
defense, and many individual categories. His teams have produced
numerous All-Conference and All-State athletes, in addition to
over 70 graduates that have moved on to play football in the
college and junior college ranks. He has had numbers of
assistant coaches recognized by the conference and the media for
their accomplishments during his tenure. He has had numerous
former players go in to coaching because they were impacted by
his passionate dedication to young people and the great game of
football. His coaching staff regularly includes former players
who return to be a part of the Mount Si Football program.

Attended Western WA University 1984-89. Played college
football as a Line Backer. College Awards: Two-time
All-American, 3 time defensive MVP, Member of the All-Century
team, Career tackles leader, played in Italy and England
Currently employed at Mount Si HS as a teacher.
Now entering my 6th season at Mt Si High School as the offensive
coordinator / QB coach1981 graduate of Issaquah High school,
where I played football and baseball. Went on to the University
of Puget Sound where I played baseball. Started coaching in 2002
at Liberty High School, where I coached RB's DB's and QB's.
Became the offensive coordinator in 2008 and in 2009.
Defensive Backs Coach
Eric has been with the Mt. Si program for 4 years and has served
as the offensive coordinator on the Freshman and JV teams,
receivers coach and is working with Varsity/JV defensive backs
this season. Eric played QB in college at Wenatchee Valley
College and a short stint with the University of Washington.

Coach Dennis has coached football for more than 40 years. He has
coached at the High school level, College level for Spring Ball
and then Jr. College level for two years. Dennis moved her from
Pennsylvania in 2005. Go Penn State!

On the Wildcat Football staff for 8 years (2007, 2010-Present).
Other coaching positions include: Twin Falls Middle School Head
Football Coach (2008-2009), Mount Si High School Head Girls Golf
Attended Mt. SI High School-played football as a three year
starter at Defensive End/Tight End.
Recognition-2000-2nd team All-King-Co Tight End; 2001-All State
Nominee TE, 1st team All-King-Co Tight End/2nd team All-King-Co
Defensive End, Team Captain 2001, Team MVP 2001, National
Football Foundation Academic Scholar, and MSHS Athlete of the
Attended Western Washington University 2001-2006-played football
as a Tight End for two seasons.
Currently employed at Mount Si High School as a World History
and American Law teacher.
Varsity - Offensive Line
Coach Cromer began his coaching
career in 2008 at Hammond High School in Columbia MD where he
began as a JV offensive line coach. The following year he was
named the Junior Varsity Head Coach. After taking an 0-30 junior
varsity team to a 4-6 record. Coach Cromer was promoted to
Varsity defensive back and wide receiver coach. In 2010 there
were changes in the coaching staff and he was moved to coaching
Outside Line backers and Running Backs. Following the 2011
season Coach Cromer’s family had an opportunity to move to the
Pacific Northwest where he met Coach Kinnune. Coach Kinnune
offered him an assistant varsity coaching position where he
returned to his roots coaching the Offensive Line. After
assisting Coach Maher for two seasons, Coach Cromer was named
Varsity Offensive Line Coach in 2015.

Played 7 years, coaching for 25+years and won 1 championships (1
Quebec and 1 Capital HS in Olympia WA).
Coaching with MSHS for the past 7 years and the past 5 years my
role is film manager, it includes (but not limited
to): coordination of the video crew (7 Cameramen), Hudl manager
(for rosters, coaches, playbook, game/practice schedule, etc.),
managing team video in Hudl (all practices, games and opponent
scout, post game posting cut game film for coaches
use), maintain our 5 IP cameras systems at MSHS Stadium
Defensive Line (DL)

School, playing football as Offensive and Defensive Tackle.
Attended Whitman College 1984-1989; WWU 1990-1991 Currently

Played for Prospect High, OR in 74-78, College football at
Southern Oregon State. Skyline 7 All league RB/LB. East-West All
Gregg is also the Boy's Head Track and field coach and is an
award winning Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher
at Mount Si.
Varsity Skills Coach
Coach Hugh Attended Roosevelt High School in
Seattle, then continued on at the University of Washington. This
is his second year coaching at the High School Level.
Tight End/Offensive Line Coach
Varsity Tight Ends coach and Assistant Offensive Line. I played
at Mount Si and went on to play four years at Oregon State. I
also wrestled throughout high school. I was a first team all Pac
12 center my senior year. My degree is in Sociology. I am also
the head wrestling coach at Mount Si. I am very happy to be a
part of this staff and to be able to give back to these kids and
this great sport. It's been awesome working under my old head
coach who I believe is the best head coach in the state.
Entering 4th year on Mt Si
Attended Issaquah High School - played wide receiver and
defensive back. Voted 1st team All-KingCo WR and DB. 1990
East-West All State participant.

Varsity Assistant -
Member of the Mt. Si Wildcats program for more than eight (8)
enjoyable years. I have coached both in the Northshore and Lake
Washington school districts. Over the past eight years I have
assisted the Running Back Athletes. Currently, I am the Varsity
Assistant Running Backs coach, teaming up with Coach Meyer to
develop good athletes, and creating an enjoyable high school
experiences. My sporting experience began in the south where I
was a dual sport athlete that consisted of track and field, as
well as football . I attended high School in Mississippi and
later Jackson State University as a running back (Go Tigers!).
My enjoyment of football has taken me from Michigan, Colorado
and eventually coming to an end in Seattle. Over the last twenty
plus years I have worked in the field of Law Enforcement it has
been a pleasure giving back to the communities, but even more
rewarding by being a role model, football coach and WILDCAT. (Go

Strength & Conditioning
John has coached at Mount Si
since 2004 and previous to that was a coach at Kamiak High
School. He is the Owner and Director of Peak Sports and
Spine-Snoqualmie. He is a graduate from Lake Stevens High School
and the University of Washington in Sports Psychology and
Physical Therapy. He lectures across the county on Sports
Physical Therapy and Strength and Conditioning.
Freshman Head Coach
Entering his 7th Year coaching
at Mt. Si, Brian graduated from Eastlake high school in 1996 and
then spent 6 years in the Navy.
He then walked on and played
Outside Linebacker at the University of Washington where he
lettered twice and won scout player of the week twice (vs.
Oregon and Washington State) as well as Tyee Council Award for

before moving up to the high school level where he is now the
head coach of the Freshmen football team. “I just want to thank
the staff here for giving me an opportunity to coach and give
back to a game that has given me so much.”
coaching at Mt. Si. I spent the first two seasons assisting with
Linebackers on JV/V before switching to my current role as
C-Team Offensive Coordinator. I am a class of 2009 graduate of
Mt. Si and an alumni of the program, playing during the seasons
of 2005-2008. Looking back on my playing career from High School
to College to Pro, I can say without a doubt my most memorable
moments stem from my time in the Wildcat Football program and I
am honored to be able to return as a coach.
Freshman Coach -
O Line / D Line
This is Jeremy’s first year with
MSHS football. He is the C-team lineman coach
Jeremy is originally from Texas. He has coached in the
Snoqualmie Valley for 7 years in multiple sports. He has also
been a mentor and youth leader for over 20 years. Jeremy has
played over 20 seasons of football including University of
Washington where he recently gained the honor of being named a
Husky Football Legend with Run to Win Outreach by playing both
Guard and Tackle at 6 feet 8 inches 450 pounds running the
40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds dubbing him the "Biggest Husky Ever,
Mount Adams!" Jeremy is married to his best friend. They have
4 children and they all take joy in serving the community.
Freshman Coach - O Line / D Line
David has played football for
six years, four at Mount Si as a center and defensive end. He
was a junior on our 2012 team that went to the Tacoma Dome. This
is his 3rd year coaching at Mount Si

Coach Dave has coached Football
at Mount Si High School for 43 years. The last 15 have been with
the Freshman team. He also coaches track at Mt Si. Dave also
teaches Social Studies at Mt Si. He is a graduate of Washington
State and West Bremerton High School.
Freshman Coach -
WR - CB - Safties
Jeremy is a 2002 Graduate of
Mount Si High School. He was a 3-year letterman in football and
a 4-year letterman in baseball. After High School he has
attended Bellevue College and Chemeketa Community College.
Jeremy has 12+ years of coaching experience in both football and
baseball at all different ages. He is entering his 4th year on
the Mount Si high school football staff and will be coaching the
Freshman. He has have coached the Mount Si baseball team since
2005 and was the 2011 – WIAA 3A Baseball State Champions.
